Wisdom of the forest (snapshot)work in progress!

By

The nature of enlightenment. Streams of energy, nourishment for wisdom and clarity, beam into the forest of our earthly consciousness. Patches of light make their way past the outstretched hands of our comprehension. The canopy of a “digital” age grasping ever upwards, seeking the raged edges of each new mystery.
Higher and higher, precariously balanced on each folded parchment, living blocks of individual experience and learning. Each pool of light blazing into our deepest fears and insecurities, offering gifts of illumination on centuries mistrust and misconception.
The highest foliage, by the nature of its seeking, shadows the areas beneath, preventing much of the light falling on the areas beneath. Younger saplings have to wait their turn in the great cycle to gain a clear view. Sometimes the action of seeking actually prevents enlightenment! The keenness to reach for the stars often only provides a very narrow channel of wisdom, jostling for that “perfect” view.
Consider the forest, it’s canopy is only part of its entire being. Equally, the water that flows beneath brings essential life, part of the alchemic formula. The breeze that wafts, challenging stale air to release its grip from around ancient lumber, blowing new life under the great canopy of consciousness.
The sounds of creation ring throughout. Etched echos within each being, common experience and trauma uniquely recorded, a chorus of voices raised together to remind us of the whole. Patchworks of personality providing the limitless variety of forest life.
